Stars U8 Red teams bring home 1st and 2nd from Des Moines tournament

Stars 8U Red 1 & 2 teams played against each other in the Championship game at the Des Moines Mite-E March Stick It To Cancer tournament. Stars Red 2 took first and Stars Red 1 was runner-up. Proceeds from the tournament benefited the Leukemia and Lymphoma society of Central Iowa.
The weekend before at the KC Ice Center Winter Classic U8 Jamboree, the Stars U8 Team Uvodich received the 3rd place trophy out of 14 teams.
