Kansas City Stars Hockey

Stars Midget AA JV team wins the Midwest High School Hockey League Championship by shutting out Des Moines Oak Leafs 1-0.  Goaltender Stephen Sundberg and the powerful Stars defense get 3 straight shut out games.  Midget AA is coached by Gary Emmons, Nick Johnson and Max Howell.

Stars Bantam Select coached by Jim Krueger, Trey Ennis and Guy Gronberg wins the Midwest Hockey League Championship finals by beating Omaha 2-0. 

Stars Peewee Select coached by Jim Hunsperger, Mike Davis and Chris Jones brings home Silver and take Second place in the Midwest Hockey League.

Stars Mite Select coached by Jeff Musolf, Darren Damato and Mark Venneman brings home the Bronze to take Third place in the Midwest Hockey League.

Russell Stover AAA U16 and U18 beat Omaha Energy U16 and U18 AAA in the Tri State Finals and advance to USA Hockey Central Districts.  U18 is coached by Larry Pedrie and U16 is coached by Tom Rudrud.
