Pat Ferschweiler to Coach Division 1 College Hockey for Western Michigan

Pat's headed back to his College Alma Mater to Coach

Pat Ferschweiler has accepted an assitant coaching position at his college alma mater Western Michigan University.  Pat played for Western Michigan from 1990-93.  While there he amassed 95 points on 30 goals and 65 assists.  He also played professsionally for 11 seasons, five of which were with the Kansas City Blades.

Pat was the Stars director of hockey from 2005-2009.  He helped build the Stars membership from 35 to 360 players.  While with the Stars, Pat developed superior off-season programs and offered high level camps and clinics. Pat also put KC hockey on the map with his Tier 1 Russell Stover AAA Hockey program which is now one of the elite hockey programs in the country, winning several Midwest Regional Championships and competing for national championships.

Pat will continue to coach our summer hockey programs, his camps and clinics and is excited to see all the players on the ice. The Stars Board of Directors, Officers, Administrator and Hockey Director thank Pat for his years of hard work, dedication and devotion to our Organization and the greater hockey community.  We all owe Pat many, many thanks.
