Attention 2007-2008 Coaches

Thank you to all coaches for making 06-07 an outstanding season. We will be starting the upcoming season with a coaches meeting on Tuesday July 17th at 7:00pm at Ice Midwest.
During this time Pat Ferschweiler, Tom Tilley and Mark Beischel will speak to you about our teaching philosophy and coaching expectations for the upcoming year.
They will also be going over coaching education requirements and coaching seminars that will be offered.

All coaches will need to present their USA Hockey coaches cards during this meeting. If you don’t have a coaching card or need to update yours,
information will be given out on how to go about this process. Due to liability concerns, all coaches will need to be certified at their appropriate level.
Coaching requirements are listed on the left side of this web page. Listed below are dates and times for upcoming CEP classes.

Please submit the following forms by July 1st so we may better prepare for the upcoming season.

Register online with USA Hockey (www.usahockeyregistration.com).
The cost is $34, please check that you are registering for the 07-08 season, and also check that you are playing in the state of Kansas.

Print and fill out the Coaching Application and Consent To Be Screened Disclosure Statement.

Mail these documents to KC Stars Hockey, 11730 W. 135th St #25, Overland Park, KS 66221-9395, or fax them to 913-814-0481.

Coaching Education Program (CEP) Dates:
|
- Level 1: August 15, 2007 at Ice Midwest, time TBD.
- Level 2: August 18th in Kansas City, time TBD, September 1st in Dubuque, or October 21st in Des Moines.
- Level 3: September 22nd in Quad Cities, October 6th in Omaha, October 21st in Des Moines.
